Random Acts of Kindness Week
February 14 - 20
Take time this week to do a Random Act of Kindness for:
Yourself Someone you know Someone you don't know
We need your help making this the kindest week Edson has ever seen!
Share Your Acts of Kindness @edsonbullyfree #edsonbullyfree
Each year, people all over the world celebrate caring and kindness on
Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week. It's is a great opportunity
to create welcoming, caring and respectful communities by promoting kindness.
RAK encourages everyone to step out of normal routines and perform a new random
act of kindness each day of the week. Are you
ready to get in on the action?
Try to:
Give someone a compliment.
Post a positive comment on social media.
Eat lunch with someone new.
Shovel a neighbor's driveway or sidewalk.
Do a chore without being asked.
Hold the door open or hold the elevator for
someone.
Check out the RAK Foundation website
randomactsofkindness.org for more suggestions
and to get you started this week. Who knows, you may want to keep it going all year long!
As we deal with the final months of winter, warm up your home, your
work place, and our entire community with a simple act of kindness.
It won't cost you a thing, but the return could be priceless.
