Dangerously driven
vehicle nearly hits
EMS personnel
On May 16, 2016 the Edson RCMP, Edson Traffic
Services, Yellowhead County Fire and EMS were
coordinating their response to a double motor
vehicle collision with significant injuries on Hwy
748 and Twp 543.
With Emergency Services personnel on scene a
north bound vehicle breached the designated
containment and dangerously drove through the
scene almost hitting emergency services personnel
and fled. Subsequent investigation utilizing RCMP
Police Dog Service, Hinton RCMP and RCMP
helicopter resulted in the arrest of Chance Desjarlais
of Edson Alberta on May 17th, 2016.
Chance Desjarlais has been charged with
