On May 14, Becky Bayley, Robin Mackay, and
Dano Brisebois held a fundraiser to raise money for
the evacuees from Fort McMurray. The BBQ at ORDER OF
Century 21 also had a bounce house, music and
some live entertainment from the 'Blues Brothers'. FEATURE:
Some major fundraisers included the prize raffle
draws and decals with the logo '#Alberta Strong' for Century 21 ALPINE
vehicles. Decals were donated by Mountain Ghost
Graphics and could either be manually applied or Alpine Realty 3%
installed professionally, for a donation to the Edson
Food Bank. Installations were performed by
Brisebois and by a Fort McMurray evacuee Royal
volunteering for the event. The BBQ, decals and
raffle raised a combined $5,950. Nixons Tire Worx Pat Fogarty interview ‘Louis Riel’ about his contribution to Canadian history, as part of the Interview
also helped raise $500 from decals. History production put on by the gorup ‘Rooney & Punyi’. Holy Redeemer grade 7 students watched

Fifty three tattoos were sold during a five hour FEATURE
period, raising a total of $2,410. "The artists spent a FEATURE

Brisebois brought up the idea of having the BBQ

On May 15, they went to local stores and bought
needed items for adults, infants, children and pets.
They loaded up a donated truck and trailer and PROPERTY
travelled to the Redwater Donation Centre.
