On January 31st, the staff of Holy
Redeemer and Vanier, along with
the local Living Waters School
Trustees, had a presentation by
the Division GrAce Committee.
The purpose of the GrAce
Committee is to advocate for the
importance of Catholic Education
and for the success of the
schools within Living Waters.
Job Shadowing creates opportunities for PCHS students

Grade 12 student Jesse Stolz, from Parkland
Composite High School, participated in a Career
Shadowing opportunity in the field of plumbing
with Bald Eagle Plumbing & Heating on January
31.
During the day, Jesse was able to see firsthand
what Service Plumbers do on a daily basis, such
as installing a hot water tank, dumping lines for a
tankless hot water system, among a variety of
other tasks.
Through career shadowing, students are
provided an opportunity to ask questions related
specifically to their area of interest from a
professional in the trade. Job Shadowing is a
very integral part of Parkland's “Your Future,
Your Plan” initiative, encouraging students to
discover their passion by exploring different
fields of interest while in high school.
In addition to Job Shadowing, students have the
opportunity to participate in Work Experience, PCHS student Jesse Stolz with Bald Eagle Employee Steve Basaraba-Journeyman
the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP), Plumber/Gasfitter.Steve stated, “Jesse did a tremendous job during his shadowing day, and we would
