and in 2018 we raised $15,173 at this event.

We also host the “Run of Hope” on the first Sunday in October. Here
you can run, walk or cycle to raise funds that go to the Canadian
Cancer Society for breast cancer research in Alberta. Some persons
request the funds stay local from their fundraising efforts. In 2018,
we raised $6,279.

Since July 2017, the Edson Run of Hope Foundation has donated
$26,759 to Palliative Care at the Edson Hospital for furnishings, coffee
maker and supplies to make the family room more comfortable.

We donated the Brass Bell and Plaque to the Hinton Community
Cancer Centre last year so that persons can celebrate their final
treatment with a ring of the bell and a smile!

We could not do this without donations and support we receive from
the Boob Tour or the Run of Hope or the many private people and
companies that raise money for our cause. We cannot thank each
and every one of you enough for your generosity. Without the
people of Edson and area many families in our community would be
in financial distress in these very stressful times.
THANK YOU!
