April 7 to the 13.
Our volunteers do so much helping to support
our communities and events so let's show them
just how much we appreciate everything they do.
Every act of volunteering is critical to the
operation and success of our local organizations
and groups. Volunteering not only offers a
lifeline of support for many local events, it also
offers a personal level of fulfillment and
camaraderie like nothing else could.
Although many volunteers enjoy helping out
when they can, and do not expect anything in
return, it is still important to let them know they
are appreciated.
Volunteers should always be shown
appreciation, but National Volunteer Week offers
a particularly important time to show your
appreciation to them —and share that
appreciation with the entire community!
Some of the local organizations running Edson Friendship Centre
volunteer appreciation events include
Yellowhead County, the Town of Edson, and
Parkland Lodge (note these events are by
Volunteers,
invitation and not open to the general public). Volunteers, Volunteers,
