'Disappointing' turnout for Coffee with Council
by Cassie Kushniruk
In order to engage more Edson residents
through a causal, laid-back styled event, Town
Council hosted 'Coffee with Council' on June 17
at the Chamber of Commerce, inviting
community members out to discuss their
concerns and the topics presented while enjoying
coffee and snacks.
Unfortunately, the event received a
“disappointing turnout” according to Mayor
Kevin Zahara, with only one individual in
attendance who was personally invited by
Council.
