NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED BYLAW NO. 02.19

PURSUANT TO SECTION 692 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
ACT, BEING CHAPTER M-26 R.S.A. 2000 AND AMENDMENTS
THERETO:

Notice is hereby given that all Public Hearings will begin at 9:30 a.m. on
March 26, 2019, in the Council Chambers of the Yellowhead County
Administration Building located at 2716 1st Avenue, Edson, Alberta.
The purpose of this hearing is to allow persons to make known their
views with respect to the proposed Bylaw 02.19 being a Bylaw to
amend the Yellowhead County Land Use Bylaw 16.13, as follows:

 Make textual amendments to align the Land Use Bylaw with and
incorporate recent changes to the MunicipalGovernment Act focusing
on decision making timelines and processes.

This concludes the summary of Bylaw 02.19.
All written submissions will become public information upon receipt by
the Yellowhead County Council. Copies of Bylaw No. 02.19 are
available for public inspection during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Yellowhead County office
located at 2716 1st Avenue, Edson, Alberta. Further information may be

Yellowhead County Development Permits are also posted online at www.yellowheadcounty.ab.ca. Development
permits, bylaws, resolutions, and public hearings are considered official notification once posted online according the
Alberta Municipal Government Act.

The land use bylaw provides that any person claiming to be affected by a decision of the Development Authority may
appeal to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board by filing a written notice of appeal, containing reasons, with
the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board for Yellowhead County accompanied with
payment of $300.00 within Twenty One (21) days after notice of the approval is given. Any other questions or
