New pharmacy brings unique pharmaceutical services to Edson

With a focus on customer care and intent to
fill a service gap within the community, the
Edson Pharmacy Remedy's Rx will offer unique
pharmaceutical services to the community
starting March 2,2020.
Pharmacists Himmat Panwar and Sabia
Saincher decided to start the Edson Pharmacy
in order to “bring new opportunities” to local
residents. As a Level C compounding
pharmacy, the Edson Pharmacy is able to create
medications, creams, capsules and liquids
which would otherwise take days to weeks to
custom order from the city. “[Level C
pharmacies] are the highest level of non-sterile
compounding in Alberta,” said Panwar. “No
pharmacy in Edson has it.”
Additionally, the Edson Pharmacy will offer
free home deliveries to patients with five or
more prescriptions. “If you are in a Seniors
Lodge or in a seniors apartment, we can do free
delivery there as well,” Panwar added.
