The expeditions are timed and groups are
normally allowed three hints, which creates a

for mostly adults and older youth.
The synopsis for this particular escape room
read: “It's 1973 and dark things have been
happening around the Galloway Station… Can
you escape this shadowy world?”
Spots booked up remarkably fast, with over 50
run-throughs completed. The room itself was
decorated to fit the 1970's time period, with a lot
of added bone-chilling and creepy effects to
make the experience even more immersive.
Event organizer Shari McDowell reported that,
“People have been great and we've gotten a
really good response and they have been patient
with us as they know we are technically not
professionals.”
“We've had a fair number of groups make it
out of the room, however it is a little
challenging. Usually groups need at least two,
sometimes three hints to get out. We try to make
it fun but also challenging and also throw a little
bit of history in there,” McDowell said.
