2019/2020 Youth Council meets for first time

On October 7, the Town of Edson's
2019/2020 Youth Council met for the first time
at Council Chambers, excited to use their voice
to represent youth in the community.
12 youth representing different schools in
Edson were chosen to sit on this year's Youth
Council, including both new and retuning
Councillors.
Returning Youth Councillors include:
Danielle Bittner from HRH, Kieran Bradbury
from Pine Grove, Leah Desuatels from HRH
and TLC, Nicholas Hill from Parkland,
Morgan Nelson from Parkland, Braden Oishi
from Parkland, and Maggy Woelfing from
Parkland.
Newly-appointed Youth Councillors include:
Hannah Espinosa from HRH, Noah Ali from
Parkland, Danica Palisoc from HRH, Robert
Preville from Parkland, and Andrew Vander
Haeghe from Pine Grove.
Town of Edson Mayor Kevin Zahara is
grateful for the mix of new and returning
Youth Councillors and is looking forward to
hearing their ideas during the 2019/2020 year.
