Edson Masonic Lodge hosts first Oktoberfest

The Edson Masonic Lodge held an Oktoberfest
celebration complete with food, music, fun
draws, drinks, and conversation on October 11.

said, “We just created this event this year and our
ultimate purpose was to create better fellowship
between the brothers in Edson's Masonic Lodge
and the community.”
Spearheading the event was Brad Becker, who
explained that they have been talking about
hosting an event like this for many years. He
mentioned that he was not sure how many people
would be attending the event and therefore was
not sure of how much food to make.
Fortunately, the turnout was great and Becker
reported that he has many more delectable
recipes he would love to make next year.
Patterson added, “It was a little tight for
planning this year, but those who attended did
enjoy themselves and gave positive feedback that
