Parkland Lodge Auxiliary’s 47th Grandparents Walk-a-thon was
a huge success.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors we raised $8,535
which will help us throughout the year with extras for the
seniors.

A gathering of supporters of the annual grandparents walk-a-thon before
heading off on their walk. Even some of the seniors were out taking part to
help the Lodge Auxiliary fundraiser. Ivan Strang, president of the Auxiliary, PASSPORT PHOTOS & MORE
said, "We had nine walkers, mostly residents on the longer walk, and 18
walkers of which were four students, plus strollers and some small children. I
must admit I was hoping to see more people out for our annual walk. I think we Professional Digital
had more out last year when the weather was pretty nasty, and today is such a
nice day." The fundraiser helps provide Christmas gifts and cards for each of Passport System
