Willmore Park is located south of Edson.
When traveling west through town turn left onto
63 Street, cross the eastbound highway and
continue south 4 km along the gravel secondary
road (RR174). Turn left on Twp. Rd 525A and
travel two kilometers to the Willmore Park gate.
When traveling east into town along Highway 16,
look for the brown Willmore Park sign.
Overall, Willmore Park is a gem to the Town of
Edson and local area, and a wonderful stop over
for those traveling through the Yellowhead
Region.

Willmore Park offers an extensive multiple-
use trail system, scenic views, day use, group
use, overnight and backcountry camping
facilities, tobogganing hill and boat launch.
CAMPING AND GROUP USE
The park offers 41 non-service auto-access campsites and one large backcountry
campsite. Campsite and group use areas can be booked by reservation. Potable water,
Puzzles, Lego, Games and T firepits and firewood are supplied.

The 12.75km loop trail system is excellent for short walks, longer hikes or mountain
biking. The trails offer a nice mix of rolling terrain, short uphills and intermediate
downhills through old growth mixed-wood forest along the McLeod River.
2025 WILDLIFE WATCHING
The park is home to many wildlife including mule and white-tailed deer, squirrels
and forest birds.
