Hats off to these wonderful volunteers who
were helping at the Edson Food Bank
recently (some of volunteers were not
available when the photo was taken).
President Fred Kuzmic says, “We really want
to say thanks to everyone giving us groceries,
and money to purchase groceries. We have
been running low on some of the food items,
but because of their generous donations, we
are able to buy items that are needed. I can't
stress enough how good this town is, it is
truly amazing compared to some other
communities. Our client numbers are up with
more people and families accessing the Food
Bank. We don't want anyone to go hungry
and be without food, that is why we are here.
Right now we have 180 people access our
facility.” photo Deanna Mitchener
Adelle Appelt, Yvonne DeOliveira, Gerhardt Appelt, Hilda Dykema, and Elma Vrolson were in good spirits during the Parkland Lodge Crazy Walker day that
was held recently. photo Deanna Mitchener
Plating up some food for residents at Parkland Lodge recently is kitchen staff member Darla Belles. The delicious aroma of bacon, liver and onions filled the
room. Darla was also dishing up mashed potatoes, corn, soup, and salad. As an alternative, residents could also choose a tasty sandwich.
