École Pine Grove
Middle School
performs ‘Peter Pan’
by Helen Payette, Pine Grove
Students from Pine Grove brought the classic
tale of 'Peter Pan' to life on the Red Brick stage
during the week of January 21 to 25. Sixty
students participated in this junior musical
production which included all the timeless
characters that audiences know and love.
Students in the production did a great job
portraying the colourful characters in the story.
They began working on the show in late
September and put in many hours of rehearsal in
order to create the finished product. The
backstage crew also had a lot to learn, including
all the lighting and sound cues.
Pine Grove has been performing a musical
annually for 12 years and students look forward
to being a part of the drama program when they
arrive in grade six. The program brings students
together as a team, develops many skills, and
builds lasting memories for those who Pine Grove students brought the classic tale of 'Peter Pan' to life on the Red Brick stage during the week
