World Snow Day in Edson celebrated at Hornbeck Trail

The Muskeg Flyers and Town of Edson helped
celebrate World Snow Day on Sunday, January
20.
The event took place at the Hornbeck Cross-
Country Ski Area located 14 km northwest of
Edson from 12pm – 4pm.
Fédération Internationale de Ski (FIS) World
Snow Day was started in 2007 to promote snow
sports for families and children.
This is the first year Edson has participated in
World Snow Day and over 175 people came out
to enjoy a day of games, goodies and fun. “It was
a great success!” said event organizer Amy
Corser with the Muskeg Flyers.
Town of Edson provided snacks and drinks and
