Random Acts of Kindness Week: Be kind, it only takes one

During the week of February 17 to 22, local
groups, organizations and individuals within
Edson and Yellowhead County took part in the
Random Acts of Kindness Week.
Random Acts of Kindness Week is a week
set aside to acknowledge others and to
remember to be kind to one another.
You do not have to personally know
someone to be kind, as kindness comes in
many different forms. It does not even have to
be a big act; it can be something as simple as
holding a door open for someone and telling
them to have a good day or giving a
compliment to another person.
The list of how you can be kind is endless as
everyone has their own unique ideas. The
main thing is to carry those ideas out and act
on them, as it only takes one act of kindness
by one person to start a ripple effect.

Action Team (CEAT) said, “We had some kids
come up with a design that reflected a random
act of kindness and anti-bullying theme.
“One of the kids taking part in the design
