NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING



Land Use Amending Bylaw No. 2242



Council will hold a Public Hearing to consider a proposed amendment to Land (see sketch) would change from Urban Reserve District (UR) to Business
Use Bylaw No. 2070 on March 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers, Edson Commercial/Light Industrial District (C-3A).
Civic Centre (605 50 Street).

If approved, the land use district (zoning) for ±5.6 hectares of pt. SE-18-53-17-5
You may submit written comments by emailing:
engineeringandplanning@edson.ca;
by mailing: Planning—Town of Edson, PO Box 6300, Edson AB T7E 1T7; or by
hand delivering to the Civic Centre between 8am and 4pm (Monday to
Friday).

Any person, group, or person acting on behalf of anyone who claims to be
affected by the proposed bylaw, may make representation during a Public
Hearing. Oral presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

Personal information contained in submissions are collected under the
Alberta Free-dom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP Act).

Any person who deems to be affected by the issuance of any one of these permits may appeal to the Subdivision and Development

Authority by 4:00 p.m., on the 21 day after the date of issue as published on the Town’s website (www.edson.ca/development).
On Permitted Uses, grounds for appeal must relate only to interpretation, variance, or relaxation of Land Use Bylaw 2070. On
Discretionary Uses, all aspects of the proposed development may be challenged upon appeal. Written notice of appeal, accompanied
by the appeal fee as established by Town Council, must be filed through the Office of the Secretary of the Subdivision and
Development Appeal Board at Box 6300, Edson, AB T7E 1T7.
