The Town of Edson Community Services Department will be accepting applications for the Seniors' and Disability Operating
Assistance Transportation Program until Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Community Services department in the Town of Edson office.
Funding under this Program is available to non-profit organizations to provide public transportation and/or accessibility to public
buildings for seniors and persons with disabilities.
We are very interested in hearing from those who have the capacity to provide this type of accessible evening and weekend
transportation within the Town of Edson to support our residents, as we have identified this as a need in our community.
Application forms are available at the Community Services department in the Town of Edson office. You can also email
cserv@edson.ca to receive the application by email.
NOTICE OF DEVELOPMENT
Notice is hereby given that the Development Authority has authorized the issuance of the following Development Permits in
accordance with the Town of Edson Land Use Bylaw #2070 as amended:

Authority by 4:00 p.m., on the 21 day after the date of issue. On Permitted Uses, grounds for appeal must relate only to
interpretation, variance, or relaxation of the Land Use Bylaw. On Discretionary Uses, all aspects of the proposed development may be
challenged upon appeal. Written notice of appeal, accompanied by the appeal fee as established by Town Council, shall be filed
through the Office of the Secretary of the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board at Box 6300, Edson, AB T7E 1T7.
