Edson Aeros defeat American Invasion

The Edson Aeros welcomed two of the
WSHL's American teams to Repsol Place over
the weekend of October 18-20, playing two
games against the Bellingham Blazers and one
against the Seattle Totems.
The Aeros swept the weekend, winning all
three games against their American rivals in the
Northwest Division.
The first game against the Bellingham Blazers
on October 18 started off slow, with a scoreless
first period.
That changed quickly in the second period as
the Aeros netted six goals, thanks to scorers
Maverick Baxtrom, Tyler Villeneuve, Artur
Chirkov, Kevin Lundin, and Mathew Rathbone
who scored twice, while the Blazers only put up
one goal in the period.
