Volunteer Fair overflowing with ways to get involved

Edson is a town that has a vast number of
groups that support the community and work to
better the lives of many. The Volunteer Fair on
April 8 featured many of these groups, all
offering opportunities to get involved.
The event was held by the Town of Edson in
partnership with the Edson District Historical
Society, and hosted at the Galloway Station
Museum.
The Museum was filled with organizations
that were enthusiastic about sharing their
missions and the things they accomplish in the
community.
Julia Warnock of the Kinette Club of Edson
talked about their Kinette Christmas Hampers,
and how many of their events throughout the
year are geared to raising money for the cause.
