Fresh air and fun at Edson's Family Day Unplugged
by Deanna Mitchener
The cold winter weather warmed up just in time
for the annual Family Day event that the Town of
Edson hosted out at Willmore Park on February 16.
The Town has been hosting this event, as part of
Family Day Unplugged, for the past three years.
They offered free bussing to and from the event
every half hour from either Repsol Place or Sok's
Pit.
Officer Mikaela Kuefler directed traffic at the
turn to Willmore Park, not allowing local traffic
through other than the buses. This was to help
control parking concerns as well as safety for kids
running and playing in the area.
