Approximately May 1, 2019 to August 30, 2019
Gravel Checker/Labourer (1) – Competition No. 19-007 – Will be responsible to carry out
a variety of road maintenance and construction activities, as well as assisting in the supervision
of equipment and personnel in the absence of the immediate Supervisor.
Parks Maintenance Labourer (4) - Competition No. 19-008 – Will assist in the
maintenance of County flower beds, parks space, and County owned properties.
Agricultural Labourer (1) - Competition No. 19-009 – Will be responsible to assist the
Conservation and Vegetation Management Technician and seasonal staff in the weed control,
conservation and rental equipment programs as well as shop maintenance. This position has
flexible hours.
Youth Services Assistant (1) – Competition No. 19-010 - Will assist with the delivery of
programs to children and youth in Yellowhead County, with the primary focus being Marlboro
and area.
Pool Manager (1) - Competition No. 19-011 – Will be responsible for maintenance,
operation, and staff supervision, as well as providing instruction, lifeguarding, and other
administrative duties at the Green Grove Pool. This position has flexible hours.
Pool Coordinator (1) – Competition No. 19-012 – Will be responsible to schedule special
events and programs, act as the supervisor on duty, provide swimming instruction, complete
pool maintenance, and other administrative duties.
Senior Lifeguards (2) - Competition No. 19-013 – Will provide swimming instruction,
lifeguard, pool maintenance and other administrative duties. These positions have flexible hours
and various start dates.
Junior Lifeguards (1) - Competition No. 19-014 – Will provide swimming instruction,
lifeguard, pool maintenance and other administrative duties. These positions have flexible hours
and various start dates.
Weed Inspector (2) - Competition No. 19-015 – Will be responsible for performing weed
inspections on private and public land in accordance with the Weed Control Act and municipal
policy.
